BARAKA Winery is a small family boutique winery on Srima, a small peninsula between Šibenik and Vodice. The winery is positioned near the early Christian basilica from the early 6th century. The Srima Peninsula is spanned by century-old dry-stone walls, surrounded by the estuary of the Krka River, the beautiful canal of Saint Ante and the Adriatic sea. Creating an exciting micro-location and a terroir for growing grapevines. The vineyard of the Barak family was established in 2005 with international varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and local varieties like Plavina and Babić. A total of about 11,500 plants on the 4ha estate. Besides the vineyard, there is also a winery with a tasting room and an olive grove, lavender and other Mediterranean plants. In Baraka winery, they strive to create ideal conditions for the growth of vines in the traditional Mediterranean ecosystem.
